ANOQR Scholarship Exam
Rules & Guidelines — ANOQR Scholarship Exam
Official criteria covering eligibility, ranking, tie-breaking hierarchy, cross-standard transfers, exam security, and awards.
1. Who may take part
- The exam is open to students studying in Standard 1 to Standard 12 at a school in India, in any curriculum and any state or union territory.
- Each registration is for one student in their enrolled standard. A parent or guardian registers on the student’s behalf.
- Registration requires an Indian mobile number. ANOQR may request school enrolment proof prior to awarding scholarships.
2. The exam & security
- The exam fee is ₹199 per attempt, paid online.
- A registration paid on or before the 25th of a month belongs to that month's exam; one paid after it belongs to the next month's. The exam may be taken any time after payment until the last day of that month.
- The exam is online and lasts 60 minutes in a single sitting across GK, Life Skills, and English.
- The student must take the exam alone. Leaving the exam screen is recorded.
- Parents should record the children attending the exam from start to end for evidence purposes, so in case of any dispute it can be produced to officials for verification.
Baseline Eligibility Criteria
- To qualify for scholarship consideration, applicants must achieve a minimum score of 60% overall across all evaluations.
- Applicants must also maintain a minimum score of 60% in each individual section (General Knowledge, Life Skills, and English).
- Meeting these baseline thresholds establishes a student’s eligibility to enter the scholarship merit pool.
Merit-Based Allocation & Capacity
- Achieving baseline eligibility qualifies a student for consideration but does not guarantee an award.
- Final scholarships are distributed to the highest-ranking candidates within the eligible pool based on available institutional capacity.
Objective Tie-Breaker Hierarchy
In the event that multiple eligible candidates share identical scores and available slots are limited, scholarship awards will be determined sequentially by:
- First Criterion: Highest total aggregate percentage across all sections combined.
- Second Criterion: Superior performance in English.
- Third Criterion: Chronological timestamp of application submission.
Cross-Standard Transfer Policy
- If a scholarship allocation cannot be filled within one standard due to an insufficient number of eligible applicants, the scholarship passes to the highest-scoring eligible student in another standard.
- If no eligible students are found across the system, the scholarship remains unawarded for that cycle.
Finality of Selection
- All evaluations, score verifications, and final selection lists determined by the scholarship review committee are final, binding, and non-negotiable. Appeals based solely on meeting the baseline threshold will not be entertained.
