Three free classified ads, and what happens after that

Every ANOQR account starts with three free listings that work in any category — cars, property, phones, furniture. This is what the free allowance actually covers, how long an ad runs, and what happens the day you need a fourth.

  6. Before you post

Most classified sites advertise "free ads" and then meet you with a paywall at the moment you actually want to sell something. ANOQR's free allowance is smaller than the ones you see advertised and considerably more honest about its edges: three listings, in any category, at no cost, for every account. No trial period, no card on file, no "free for the first month."

This article covers what that allowance really includes, where it stops, and what the next step costs — so you can decide before you spend an evening photographing a sofa.

What the three free ads actually cover

The allowance is per account, not per category. That distinction matters more than it sounds.

On a lot of marketplaces, "free" applies to low-value categories and quietly excludes the ones people actually pay for — vehicles, property, jobs. On ANOQR the same three listings can go anywhere:

  • A car in Vehicles
  • A flat in Property
  • A phone, a laptop or a fridge in Electronics
  • Furniture, bicycles, musical instruments, tools
  • A job opening, if you are an employer

That last one is worth pausing on, because it is unusual: an employer's first job post on ANOQR Jobs is drawn from the same free allowance. You do not need a separate employer subscription to find out whether the board works for you.

How long a free ad stays up

Each published ad runs for 30 days. After that it expires and stops appearing in search and category pages.

Expiry is not deletion. The listing stays in your account, and reposting it is a couple of taps rather than a re-entry of everything you typed the first time. But the 30 days are real, and a car that has not sold in a month is usually a car with a pricing problem rather than a visibility problem — which is a useful thing for a deadline to tell you.

Where the free allowance stops

Three is three. Once you have posted your third ad, a fourth needs an ad credit.

There is no hidden ladder here — no "verify your phone for two more," no daily refill. The number does not grow with account age. What it does mean is that the free tier is genuinely sized for a person clearing out a house, and genuinely not sized for a dealer moving inventory. That is deliberate, and it is why the paid tiers start where they do.

What a fourth ad costs

The next ad is a single credit. Buying credits works like this:

What you buyRoughly who it is for
A single ad from ₹99One more thing to sell after the free three
A small packSomeone selling a few items a month
The dealer pack, up to ₹9,999Showrooms and shops with continuous inventory

Two properties of credits are worth knowing before you buy:

  1. Credits are category-agnostic. A credit bought while listing a car can be spent on a sofa. You are not buying "vehicle listings," you are buying listings.
  2. Credits stay valid for 180 days. Six months is long enough that a pack bought for a busy fortnight does not evaporate.

The current prices and pack sizes are always on the ad packages page — that page reads them from the API, so it is right even when an article like this one is a month behind. Payment goes through Cashfree, with Razorpay as a fallback.

Three ads is enough to test the thing properly

The honest argument for a small free tier is that three ads is more than enough to answer the only question that matters: does anyone on this platform want what I am selling?

Post one good listing — real photos, a real price, the actual condition — and you will know inside a week. If the answer is yes, credits are cheap. If the answer is no, you have spent nothing.

What genuinely moves that answer is not the number of ads. It is the quality of the first one. Photos that sell covers the part most people get wrong, and pricing a listing so buyers near you actually see it covers the part most people do not know exists.

Before you post

A short checklist that saves the most time:

  • Photograph in daylight, against a plain background. Nothing else you do to a listing has this much effect.
  • Put the real price in the price field, not "negotiable" in the title. Filters run on the field; buyers who filter by budget never see a listing with no price.
  • Say where the item is. ANOQR matches buyers by location, and a listing with a vague location competes with the whole country instead of with your district.
  • Answer fast. The first reply usually wins the sale on a classifieds platform, regardless of price.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to pay anything to post my first ad on ANOQR?
No. Every ANOQR account includes three free listings that can be used in any category, with no card required and no trial period.
Do the three free ads reset every month?
No. The three free listings are a one-time allowance per account, not a monthly refill. Once they are used, further listings need ad credits.
How long does an ANOQR listing stay live?
Each published ad runs for 30 days, then expires. It stays in your account afterwards, so reposting it does not mean typing everything again.
Can I use a free ad for a car or property, or only for small items?
Any category. The free allowance is per account rather than per category, so it can be spent on vehicles, property, electronics or anything else on ANOQR.
What does a fourth ad cost?
A fourth listing needs one ad credit. Single ads start at ₹99 and packs run up to a ₹9,999 dealer pack. Credits work in any category and stay valid for 180 days.

How to sell your car online in Kerala without a broker

Sell a used phone for more than the exchange offer

An exchange offer prices your phone at its worst plausible condition, because the buyer has never seen it. A private listing prices it at its actual condition. The gap is usually worth an hour of your time — and this is how to close it safely.
